Located on the Place de Fontenoy, in Paris, the main building which houses the UNESCO Headquarters was inaugurated on 3 November 1958. Y-shaped design, created by three architects of different nations under the direction of the international committee.
Called the 'star' breaks the three, the building stands on 72 pillars of concrete piles. It is well known in the world, not only because it is the home of a well-known organizations, but also because the quality of architectural excellence.
